Beware the Dangers of a Ghost Scorpion!
I’ve been a fan of Mighty Tiny’s creepy mask-wearing circus rock for quite some time, and I got the opportunity to play flute on a track for their upcoming album. (To see my other posts about Mighty Tiny, with photos!, go here.) I’ve never seen Ketman, but I’ve heard great things about them, and I’ve seen several of their members perform with various other awesome projects. I know nothing about Beware the Dangers of a Ghost Scorpion!, but I have a special fondness for bands with uncomfortably long names, since I am in one myself. Based on a quick Google search, it appears that they perform with bandanna-covered faces. Between the masks and the bandannas, this show is sure to be Halloweenily creepy and wonderful.

I’ll be going to the show at Great Scott to see my band-mates, Mike and Sophia, play in their other project, Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling. I saw Mellow Bravo once, but this’ll be my first time seeing The Lights Out and Naked On Roller Skates.
Since I was the 100th person to RSVP on the Facebook event page, apparently I win a beer from Naked On Roller Skates’ lead singer Leesa and a ride home in The Lights Out’s band van. Sweet!
